In 1993 The Royal Bank of Scotland transferred its headquarters to their St. Andrew Square office leaving 14 George Street dormant. In 1996 the iconic building, resplendent in Corinthian columns, marble bars and a variety of grandly ornate rooms for fine dining, light lunches and afternoon teas was reopened as The Dome.

This stunning former banking hall has been meticulously preserved retaining all the original Georgian architecture to create Edinburgh's most grand brasserie, The Grill Room.

The Club Room, Front Bar and Georgian Tea Room all offer distinctive yet lavish dining and drinking experiences making The Dome one of Edinburgh's true destination venues.
