The Roseburn is a traditional local bar in the western neighbourhood of Roseburn and Murrayfield in Edinburgh. The wood adorned pub has comfy booths along the walls and two separate lounge areas.
They host live music and the venue comes alive on match days, especially when the Scotland or Edinburgh Rugby teams are playing.
The Roseburn has been a pub since the 1880's with a lot of the original decoration, woodwork and fixtures remaining today. The pub consists of the public bar, the lounge and the 'jug bar' otherwise known as the 'fly half'.
The public bar is split into 3 sections by partitions, these sections are called trap 1, trap 2 and trap 3.
Each trap is like a different pub in itself with many customers sticking to certain areas, this can lead to some healthy rivalry.
Glen Moray Speyside single malt are the official sponsors of Edinburgh Rugby so it seems that The Roseburn is a natural fit for a vast array of Glen Moray whiskies including flights, old and rare bottlings.
